Hong Kong Film Awards 2006 : Les Nominations

La 25ème cérémonie des Hong Kong Film Awards aura lieu le 8 avril 2006. La liste des nominés concourant pour les 19 récompenses fut annoncée il y a quelques jours (le 8 février 2006). En tête de peloton avec 11 nominations chacun, nous retrouvons Election, le film de triades de Johnnie To, reparti bredouille de Cannes en 2005, et Perhaps Love, comédie musicale à grand spectacle de Peter Chan, qui sera en compétition à Deauville cette année. Ces deux films sont talonnés de près par le film de sabre épique de Tsui Hark, Seven Swords, qui récolte 10 nominations, et le nouveau nanar de Andrew Lau et Alan Mak , Initial D, d’après le manga du même nom, qui récolte également 10 nominations !(le film a fait un carton en Asie, mais quand même…). Pronostics : Aaron Kwok cabotine trop dans Divergence en voulant jouer (sans y parvenir) au flic torturé façon Lau Ching-wan dans Full Alert. Tony Leung Ka Fai cabotine aussi dans Election en ganster fou furieux à la Joe Pesci, mais il le fait bien. La performance de Simon Yam, très sobre (comme dans PTU), pourrait être récompensée (comme avec PTU).

Pronostics : Alex Fong en fait des tonnes dans Drink Drank Drunk et livre une contre-performance lamentable par rapport à sa superbe interprétation de One Nite In Mongkok. Out ! Le bedonnant Wong Ting Lam rejoue le même type de personnage que dans The Mission ou The Longest Nite. Bien, mais insuffisant. Anthony Wong ne fait absolument rien dans Initial D et donne l'impression qu'il s'ennuie. La bataille pourrait se jouer entre les excellents Hu Jun et Liu Kai Chi.
