A une époque où la Terre vit sous les ténèbres, Beowulf, un homme maudit et solitaire, fruit des amours interdites d'une mortelle avec le diable, tente de vaincre le monstre qui est en lui en combattant le mal. Son plus redoutable adversaire est une créature d'une sauvagerie sans nom, tapie dans une forteresse.
Paramount Home Entertainement vient d'annoncer que La légende de Beowulf sortira en DVD sur le territoire américain le 26 février 2008 ! Il y aura le choix entre trois éditions : édition simple avec le film présenté dans sa version cinéma, une édition director's cut et un HD-DVD... Alors que l'édition contenant la version cinéma se limitera à un contenu interactif restreint avec un simple making of, on retrouvera sur l'édition director's cut un bon nombre de suppléments inédits. Le HD-DVD quant à lui sera également bien fourni en bonus exclusifs. Les spécificités techniques n'ont pas encore été annoncées !
